What I learned as a ninja

With my vast experience of being a ninja, breaking into places not even James Bond could get into, I have learned one very important thing. You see when I was younger, I traveled a lot for my job. I would often find myself in strange places, where most people would not feel comfortable even driving past.

Every time I would go somewhere, I would take only the necessities. I had my sword, my gear, a dozen stars, and whatever else I would need. I had made many journeys over the years, dark forests, dank caves and even a castle or two. It was always hard to plan ahead for the unknown, but I got good at it. The most important thing in all the world to take with you, no matter if you were fighting Ninjas, zombies, wizards, goblins, or giants,  and it was the key to survival anywhere, was Bacon. Yes you read that right, Bacon. Bacon is the greatest thing mankind had ever made. With enough bacon, there would be no wars, no famine, hate would be erased, and maybe even the dead raised.

So when you leave today, make sure you stop and get some bacon (That is providing that you do not already have a stash saved up). If you want to save a life, or be the talk of the town, take some bacon. If you get abducted by aliens, avoid having the world over run by offereing them some bacon.

I truly believe with all my heart, ALL great civilizations fell because of a shortage of bacon. Do not let this happen again.

The Blog and the Beautiful

Well, I seem to be hit and miss with the blog, It is a slow start, but I have things I want to work on for this. Also, I plan on getting my domain name back, as well as my site to place my books in one easy place to purchase.

I recently, today, released my first book, Apocalyptic Survey, on Lulu.com. It will soon be available on the Nook as well as on Apple's bookstore for iTunes  When they are, I will share them on here again. But for now, you can read a sample on Lulu and purchase the book there. My book is a small collection of poems, the title poems tell a story of a boy,  while the rest are poems of darker things. Don't worry they are safe for anyone to read.

On the same note, you can also buy my mother's book on lulu as well as Nook and Apple. Her's is much funnier than mine. Her's is a collection of short stories that will make you laugh. Below are the links to the books.

And I am writing more,  trying to write more and more each day. This blog is part of that. Today I wrote a new poem. It is called Beautiful. I hope you enjoy it.

Beautiful

Your words fall silently around me,
I see your mouth moving,
But you are wasting your life.
It is not that I am not listening,
You just are not worth listening to.

You spout off your so called knowledge,
But you never really look at the facts.

You just repeat what someone else says,
You have no words of meaning,
That actually belong to you.
Ignorance is your strongest weapon,
It puts up walls no one wants to get over.

You are a master at the defense,
Your lack of intelligence will disarm,
Everyone that ever tries to talk to you.

We try to show you how to live better,
Try to show you knowledge and meaning.
But you only take fragments of the least,
And make it seem like it is the greatest.
You are a failure to all who look at you.

No one will mourn your loss,
Just sigh with relief.
Because for a little while
We can finally begin to grow again.

Do the stars still shine?
Do the flags still wave?
Land of the dead,
Land of the useless.
America the beautiful.

Vorans Imperatrix

Sometimes I see a song name, or a phrase and think to myself, "I like the way that sounds." So I set off to write a poem. Sometimes the poem is lighter, sometimes darker, but I always like them. I think titles are a very important part of any writing. This one is called "From Beneath You it Devours." I hope you enjoy.

From Beneath You it Devours

From beneath you it devours,
Eating at the feet of our children.
Do you feel safe indoors,
Hoping the wooden floors hold strong?
Do you feel it coming for you?
It burrows deep below you,
waiting for you to stumble.
It waits for you,
For a time to fill it's veins,
With the blood of your children,
With the blood from your veins.
Imperatrix Mundi it calls itself.
From beneath you it devours.
I lament the scars it leaves.

The Hyrule Bards

Well I haven't written anything on here in a while. Just haven't had anything on my mind that needed to be written. Instead, I pulled  up another poem about a video game. This time about Legend of Zelda. Wrote this one as if I was one of the bards who wrote songs for the people of Hyrule. Hope you enjoy.

The Hyrule Bards

We've come from far away lands,
To see the princess in her,
Glorious kingdom of white.
We've come to sing her song,
And of the woe that befell her kingdom.
The evil king from the west,
Sought to capture the power of gods.
he imprisoned her in his dark tower,
Built on the rubble of her kingdom.
Zombies infested her village,
Until the boy who disappeared,
Returned a man, with sword in hand,
To slay the evil king.
The hero, who traveled time,
With the aid of the Great Sages,
Imprisoned the evil incarnate,
In a void beyond the realms.
And the kingdom became light again,
For the Hero of Time was nothing,
Without the Princess Zelda.
